This incident resulted in the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was taken into custody in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Officers arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
